We seem to be getting a lot of emails from clients wondering which regimen would work best for them. While everyone has different skin, below is a suggested regimen that has worked out really well. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions, bellasplendore@gmail.com.

5 star rating on YELP about Bella!

Posted in Uncategorized on April 22nd, 2009 by Suzanne

I will start by saying I was very skeptical of this line. So many promises, as we have all heard, to diminish wrinkles, clear acne (my 20 year old Daughter Had it really bad) and raising three kids and holding a full time job left my face less than youthful. As a last resort, and trying to avoid Botox I gave it a go. I went to their site then wasn’t sure which direction to go so I spoke with the creators. They drove out to my home and spent over an hour with me on selecting products. Within a few weeks my lines have decresed by AT LEAST 50% and my Daughters acne is gone. My Daughter didn’t even get those results from RX!!! I love their cleansers, the Lipids are too good to be true and the Re-Lax (botox in a bottle) is, in my opinion, better than Botox. They also have masks and moisturizers that are wonderful. I have recommended this line to all of my friends and they took me out for drinks to celebrate their gorgeous skin. keep it up ladies, whatever you are doing is working!

Before you go under the knife… read this!

Clients always come to us, usually as a last resort because nothing seemed to work for them. We have clients who have mild acne all the way to severe acne of all ages. Our main client lately seems to be people that are pondering surgery or injections. While I am not at all opposed to these methods-to each their own, I want people to know that we DO have alternative options. Our products give you fast results, no down time and treat the problem aggressively while still managing to be gentle. For those of you considering Botox… Give Bella a try. We offer several products that are bio identical to your skin and penetrate deep to give you maximum results.
Some product recommendations for Botox alternatives:
1) Wri-Lax- loaded with antioxidants and 10% Argiline. This topical serum is to be used on areas you would get Botox. The best part is it can be used where an injection cannot: Under the eyes, the eye lips, etc…) this product is wonderful for forehead expression lines, laugh lines also on the neck and hands.
2) Nutrafill-This product mimics your natural moisture balance and can be worn for only 20 minutes or for fanatics like me, all day (It is completely clear!).
3) We are also coming out with a BRAND NEW product (It will debut in May) called Retinol drops. This is a very concentrated serum that aggressively targets those pesky lines around the eyes; forehead, etc… can also be used all over the face in addition to neck and hands.

Could this be THE miracle cream? You decide…

Posted in Uncategorized on April 21st, 2009 by Suzanne

“Do these have oil in them?” seems to be the burining question I get lately. The ‘these’ I mention are in fact the Lipid drops we carry in the Bella line. We as a society do two things with our skin…

1) Over exfoliate and 2) are deathly afraid of oil, as we should be.

The old adage “not all things are what they seem” comes into my head as lipids have NO OIL at all and in fact are a natural substance found in the body. One of the things people remark most about babies is, of course, their ‘baby soft skin.’ This is because when we are born we have a natural lipid barrier that acts as a seal to lock moisture into the skin. As we age, this ’seal’ diminishes and we lose the valuable lipid barrier thus looking dry and dull.

Lipid drops are clinically proven to increase skin smoothness and rapidly replace the moisture balance within the skin. It is made up of only a few ingredients they are: Sphingolipids–These are ‘bio identical’ to those found in the skin and are made up by the outermost layer of the skin. They retain moisture. They are also made up of ceramides–These are a natural part of the cell membrane and are critical in helping the skin to maintain it’s moisture binding and protective barrier functions.

Ironically enough, just a small dab of the Lipids during a demonstration has people sold. They immediately are afraid of the texture and assume it is oil and will leave their skin looking greasy. About 2 minutes into the demo they see the texture of their skin start to change and their skin is anything but oily. In fact, they comment that their skin has taken on a new glow and is soft, supple and BABY SOFT!!! Next thing I know is I cannot keep the product on the shelves. Miracle product??? You decide. I certainly think so…

Acne free and loving it!!!

Posted in Uncategorized on April 21st, 2009 by Suzanne

Just for the record… I am really passionate about what I do. It stems from a LONG history with bad skin. As I got ready for bed tonight and really looked at my skin (you know the dreaded magnification mirror???) I thought back to a time, not too long ago, when I used to have to pile on makeup layers to hide the horrid acne on my face.

I didn’t just have a spot or two, it was more like a road map on my face that hit me in my early twenties! Even worse, I was trying to launch my big bad career as a PR super star and appear older than I was to gain the respect of executives and Celebrity big shots. Here I was looking like I was 16 years old. Then I met the man of my dreams, my now Husband, and recall staying overnight at his house and NEVER wahsing my loads of makeup off–how healthy do you think that was???

I knew I had hit my absolute worst when I began playing into the hype of infomercials… You know the ones that taunt you late at night while you are trying to sleep????!!! I spent hundreds of dollars on ‘miracle’ products, ‘cures’ for acne, etc… First of all, let me de-mystify the hype–there is no ‘cure’ for acne. Sorry, there really isn’t! What you can do is find the right combination to keep the acne from popping up onto your skin (killing it at the cellular level) or helping to lessen the severity.

Just as I was about to go crazy and start Accutane treatment, I met a Dermatologist that changed my life. Because of this and getting the right treatment down I am now, dare I say, acne free. Better yet, while I will still always poke, stare and lie in wait for my next pimply visitor (it stays with you i’m afraid) I can now move onto other skin care needs to protect me in the future, like wrinkle treatments!

I am sharing this story not to brag and say “my skin is perfect.” But I must say that when I am out shopping or at a party and someone says to me “your skin is amazing!!!” I first glance around the room to make sure thet are speaking to me. Once I realize that it is, in fact, me they are talking to I smile and say “thanks” and think of the long bumpy road it took to get here.

Hyaluronic Acid found in Bella Products

Posted in Uncategorized on April 12th, 2009 by susan

Looking at the back of a skincare label can be daunting to the average consumer. Typically the longer the list of ingredients, the less effective the main ingredient will be thus decreasing your chances of seeing a difference in your skin. There is a lot of talk surrounding a very popular active ingredient— Hyaluronic Acid (HA). We use this ingredient in several formulations in our Bella Splendore line.

Typically the word acid makes one think of burning and stripping of the skin, but contrary to the use of the word ‘acid’ in its name, this serves actually as a lubricant and is found naturally in the body. It essentially acts as a barrier and lubricant to several areas of the body the main being the skin. The sun’s harmful rays cause our natural supply of hyaluronic acid to diminish as we age. The end result is the dreaded wrinkling of the skin.

Many of the Bella products offer large doses of hyaluronic acid so much so that our line is one step away from being prescription strength! Products which contain HA: Conditioning Make-Up Remover, Wri-Lax (or as we call it Botox in a bottle!) and the Oil free moisturizer. Our products containing HA lock moisture to the skin and help plump the skin from within thus dramatically improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
